Chamber choir had a photoshoot
Already for some time now there has been the thought that Chamber choir should make new pictures. As this summer we got new performance outfit, It seemed the perfect time to do this. So in the beginning of September we spent one afternoon in front of the camera. On the other side of the camera was a young and talented photographer Martin Ahven.
Martin Ahven is a 20 year old young man from Tallinn, who is currently studying Photography for Digital Media at University of Bradford, UK. In his family photography has always been in an important place. Already in middle school Martin was the one who always captured the everyday school life and most of the events. About five years ago Martin got his first single-lens reflex camera and started learning more and more about photography. He just started trying different things and learning on his own about different photo editing programs. Althought photography is Martin’s main occupation, he is actually also very good in basketball. In Tallinn he used to play in a team called Marcus, but in England he is very succesfull in he’s university’s basketball team.
Chamber choir thanks Martin for that fun photosession and wishes him all the best and lot of success!
The new pictures of the choir are up in our gallery.
Who wants to see more of Martin’s work can find it here.
We welcome our new singers
Like every autumn, once again we were in the search for new singers. The auditions were held on two days and a total of 26 people had the wish to join us.
As chamber choir is a rather small type of choir, we have limited number of space. In addition we also had to take into account the needs of different voice groups. Keeping all of this in mind, 9 singers from 26 where chosen and we are proud to welcome them to our choir!
